The Town of Indian Shores is a small beach community with a population of about 2,000. Most well-know as the home of the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, a refuge that shelters up to 500 injured and recuperating birds. Indian Shores has over two miles of sandy beach to enjoy, along with the other 28 miles of beaches in Pinellas County. Travel is easy to arrange into the St. Petersburg-Clearwater or Tampa International Airports. Our beach community is connected to the Interstate Highway system by I-4, I-75, and I-275. All provide easy access for day trips to points of interest. Just one hour drive to the entertainment of Busch Gardens, Lowry Park Zoo and the new Florida Aquarium. Orlando and the Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World attractions are only 90 miles away.
